The On Sync RAID base system is the Fiber-4 controller module with 4 disk drives. To add more capacity, simply add an FC-8 or SATA-8 disk module. The FC-8 can use up to 8 FC-AL disks, such as the 4Gb/s 73, 146 or 300 GB Hitachi or Seagate drives. The SATA-8 module has capacity for up to eight 3 Gb/s 300, 500 or 750 GB SATA or SAS drives. The On Sync RAID is scalable up to 1,024 disks
