History
The company was originally founded in 1988 to provide large capacity peripherals for PC's and Unix servers. On Sync's first national ad was placed in UNIX World in 1989.
The founder of On Sync, Bruce Brunette, has an extensive background in UNIX and SCSI, having served on the industry committee that wrote the SCSI specification while Director of Marketing at Ciprico Inc.
Mr. Brunette was also the President of Introl Corporation, a manufacturer of SCSI adapters for UNIX workstations. He has authored several articles on SCSI and has been a speaker at numerous computer seminars, including the MN Government IT Symposium.
